Author Talk: Jill Mays on Nurturing Nature: A Guide to Gardening for Special Needs
Cape Cod author, occupational therapist, and leader of gardening groups for individuals with special needs Jill Mays will discuss her 2024 book, Nurturing Nature: A Guide to Gardening for Special Needs https://yarmouth-town.clamsnet.org/Record/589406. This book covers the benefits of gardening for social, emotional, and physical skills, for children and older adults, and for those with special needs. Booklist Review notes: “this book has much to offer gardening groups of all ages and abilities, as well as anyone starting out.” All are welcome, with no need to register. Books will be for sale by the author.
