This lunch presentation will feature Christine Merser of Blue Shoe Strategy as she presents Crowd-funding. How to make sure it takes off rather than fizzles out like a party no one came to. And, social media feeding crowd-funding. Is that the way to go? We will be reviewing successful crowd-funding campaigns and alas, one or two failures, with examples of why they failed and how they could have succeeded. Crowd-funding is not the easy road to solvency, but when done properly, for the right reasons around the right fundraising initiative, it can fill the bank, and perhaps more importantly, make your organization known in the circles you want to call your own.
