Meet The Oysters!
Learn all about the baby oyster nursery in Yarmouth this summer, a collaboration between Mass Oyster Project, Yarmouth Division of Natural Resources, Yarmouth Department of Public Works, ARC Hatchery, and Friends of Bass River. Join us at the South Yarmouth Library at 11:00 a.m. to watch a short film called Operation Restoration Oyster, a documentary about oysters and the efforts to restore balance to our coastlines. At about 11:30 we'll all walk together to see the upweller at Packet Landing (5-10 minute walk, level ground with sidewalks). We encourage you to register to get an email reminder the day before the event, but please come even if you haven't registered!
