Meet The Oysters! - Activities for Young Children

Join us at the South Yarmouth Library at 11:00 a.m. for ages 8+ to watch a short film called Operation Restoration: Oyster, a documentary about oysters and the efforts to restore balance to our coastlines. Younger children with a caregiver are invited to make an oyster craft in the Children's Room. At about 11:30 we'll all walk together to see the upweller (baby oyster nursery) at Packet Landing (5-10 minute walk, level ground with sidewalks), meet Shellfish Constable Cassaundra Healey, and listen to a story for children! Registration is not required.
