Oyster Excitement in Yarmouth Tuesday, July 16, 1:00 pm. South Yarmouth Library Did you know that this summer baby oysters are growing in a new upweller (an oyster hatchery) on the Bass River at Packet Landing? Learn about this new project from Mass Oyster Project, a collaboration between Yarmouth Division of Natural Resources, Yarmouth Department of Public Works, ARC Hatchery and Friends of Bass River. We will watch a short film called The Oyster Revival, a documentary about oysters and the efforts to restore balance to our coastlines, discuss, and then walk over to see the upweller at Packet Landing!
